NEXT COACHELLA MUSIC and ARTS FESTIVAL APRIL 14 – APRIL 23, 2023

Over the past 20 plus years, Coachella has become one of the biggest and most popular music events in the world.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an award-winning annual event held in the desert at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California, featuring dozens of performing artists on multiple stages. Independent films, exhibits of contemporary art and fashion are also a big part of Coachella.

The music line-up at Coachella is typically rock, pop, indie, hip hop and electronic dance music.

Since its inception in 1999, annual attendance has steadily grown to over 250,000 music and art lovers.

Camping and reveling in the desert (the Mojave Desert is just north of Indio, California) is a big part of the Coachella experience. Daytime temperatures can hit 100°F or more. Be sure to pack your sun blocker as there is precious little cloud cover or shade. And take a blanket…the temperature will drop dramatically after sunset!

In recent years, Coachella has been making a major attempt to improve the festival experience for every one. Kudos to the organizers for continuing to improve an already well-managed, profitable, and socially-conscious event.
