Country Star Craig Morgan’s Son Accidentally Drowns in Tennessee River Music News by da jack hayford - July 15, 2016December 20, 20210 The Tennessean, People and other media outlets have reported the tragic accidental drowning of Jeremy Greer, son of Country Music Star Craig Morgan. His body was recovered from Kentucky Lake on July 12, 2016. According to reports, Humphreys County (TN) Sheriff Chris Davis said two teens, including Jeremy Greer, were tubing on the Tennessee River near Kentucky Lake on Sunday (July 10th) when they fell into the water. Greer, although witnesses said was wearing a life jacket, never resurfaced. Greer was 19 years old and a recent graduate of Dickson County (TN) High School. His friends, teachers and coaches praised the young man as an outstanding athlete and a fierce competitor. Morgan, an Army veteran, has had a number of country hits including, “Tough,” “Almost Home,” “That’s What I Love About Sunday” and “International Harvester.” He is also the host of “Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors” on the Outdoor Channel. The show takes Morgan on adventures around the world, and Greer sometimes went with him. They were recently shown together on the program’s website, posing with a goat they shot in Hawaii. Greer is one of Morgan’s four children.
