The Tennessean, People and other media outlets have reported the tragic accidental drowning of Jeremy Greer, son of Country Music Star Craig Morgan.

His body was recovered from Kentucky Lake on July 12, 2016.

According to reports, Humphreys County (TN) Sheriff Chris Davis said two teens, including Jeremy Greer, were tubing on the Tennessee River near Kentucky Lake on Sunday (July 10th) when they fell into the water. Greer, although witnesses said was wearing a life jacket, never resurfaced.

Greer was 19 years old and a recent graduate of Dickson County (TN) High School. His friends, teachers and coaches praised the young man as an outstanding athlete and a fierce competitor.
